Terms of Use
Last updated 15 August 2026
The agreement between you and us. It covers what the subscription costs, how to stop paying for it, who owns the work you put in, and what we are and are not responsible for. Written to be read once, in plain language.
By creating a JobRhino account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, don’t use it — and if you already have an account, you can delete it from inside the app at any time.
The subscription
JobRhino is sold as a single auto-renewing subscription. There are no tiers, no add-ons and no per-user pricing.
| What | Detail |
|---|---|
| Subscription | JobRhino — full access to the app |
| Length | One month, renewing monthly |
| Price | $29 per month. The exact price is always shown in the app before you buy, and is charged in your local currency where Apple supports it. |
| Billed by | Apple, through your Apple Account — not by us |
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of the renewal.
You can manage the subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time after buying it, in Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your iPhone. The app has a shortcut to the same screen.
Free trial
If a free trial is offered, it is stated on the purchase screen along with its length. You will not be charged during the trial, and cancelling before it ends costs you nothing. If you do not cancel, the subscription starts automatically at the end of the trial and is charged as above.
Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription before the trial ends. Free trials are limited to one per Apple Account.
Your price does not go up
If you subscribe at $29 per month, that is your price for as long as your subscription stays active. We will not raise it on you later. If the price changes for new customers, existing subscribers keep the rate they signed up at.
This is a commitment we have made publicly and we intend to keep it. If your subscription lapses and you resubscribe later, the price in force at that time applies.
Refunds
Because Apple takes the payment, Apple handles refunds — we cannot issue one. Request it at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something has gone wrong with the app, email support@jobrhino.app anyway and we will help where we can.
Cancelling, and what happens to your work
Cancelling stops the billing at the end of the period you have already paid for. It does not delete anything.
After a subscription ends you can still open the app, sign in, and read and export everything you have — your customers, estimates, invoices and prices. Creating new documents needs an active subscription. We do not hold your records hostage. Your work stays available to you, and you can take it with you.
Deleting your account is different, and permanent — see below.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@jobrhino.app if you think someone else has got into it. Resetting your password signs out every device.
An account is for one business. You may sign in on as many of your own devices as you like.
Your work belongs to you
Everything you put into JobRhino — your customers, prices, estimates, invoices, schedule, business details and logo — is yours. We hold it to give it back to you. We do not sell it, rent it, share it, use it to advertise, or use it to train anything. We do not contact your customers.
Under privacy law you are the controller of your own customers’ information and we are a processor acting on your instructions. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from inside the app, in More › Settings › Delete account. It permanently removes your account and everything in it, from your phone and from our servers. There is no undo and no way for us to recover it, including for you.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Apple bills it, so it has to be cancelled with Apple — in Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your iPhone. Do that first, or you will keep being charged for an account that no longer exists.
Getting paid by your customers
If you put a payment link on an invoice, that link belongs to your payment account. Your customer pays you directly under your agreement with them. JobRhino is not a party to that transaction, does not hold the money, and never sees your customers’ card or bank details.
Anything to do with that payment — refunds, disputes, chargebacks, fees, tax — is between you, your customer and your payment provider.
What JobRhino is not
It is a tool for writing estimates and invoices and keeping track of your jobs. It is not accounting, tax or legal advice, and it does not file anything on your behalf.
Tax rates, prices, totals, payment terms and the wording of what you send are yours to set and yours to check. We do our best to get the arithmetic right and it is tested, but you are responsible for what goes out under your business name. Check the figures on anything that matters before you send it.
Fair use
Don’t use JobRhino to break the law, to send anything to people who have not asked to hear from you, to impersonate someone else, or to attack, overload or reverse engineer the service. Don’t resell it as your own product.
We may suspend or close an account that is doing any of the above. If we ever do that to you, we will tell you why and give you a way to get your data out, unless the law stops us.
Availability
The app is built to keep working with no signal — your work is saved on your phone first and backs up when it can. That is deliberate, because our customers work in basements and crawlspaces.
The backup service itself is not guaranteed to be available at all times. We do not promise a particular uptime, and we may take it down for maintenance. We will not delete your data to make room, and we keep backups so a hardware failure does not take everyone’s work with it.
Ending things from our side
We may stop offering JobRhino. If that happens we will give you reasonable notice, a way to export everything, and a refund of any period you have paid for and not used.
Liability
JobRhino is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost work, or indirect or consequential damages. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the problem arose.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud. Some states do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this may not apply to you.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that affects you, we will update the date at the top and, for anything material, say so by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the change. If you don’t, cancel and delete your account.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The courts of Riverside County, California have jurisdiction, except that either of us may bring a claim in small claims court.
